Better Late Than Never

Good April Earth Month to you! I realize how much gardening I've been caught up in, and there's no sign of slowing down. Thus, my words to you are a tad overdue for April. But, here I am!
What's the what in life today? Well...I continue to watch little Punch monkey every moment I can. His growth pattern and precious mannerisms leave me with such a wonderful feeling in my heart, I oftentimes forget what time it is and where I'm supposed to be. Silly, huh? Focusing on a tiny monkey that mimics our awesome Wizard on numerous occasions is where life's at for me. :)
Maybe that's why I'm more than obsessed with Punch. Yet, Wizard has his puppy-like idiosyncrasies that give me daily pause (paws) as well. He had his annual wellness check yesterday, and all systems are a 'go' and better than ever. Both Greg and I are beside ourselves with how Wizard's health is right now; it's a testament to the consistent care of his epilepsy and monitoring his diet, supplement intake, and activity (which means no stressful situations).
Earth Day happenings also continue to take up space in my energetic forcefield. I've been nourishing my plants, repotting several, rearranging pots, and growing species based on the sun's direction and output. My greenhouse is thriving like crazy, which makes every day feel like a celebration.
I FINALLY FOUND THE MAGIC IN GROWING SUCCESSFUL TOMATOES! How cool is that?

I've also begun crafting my 9th book, yeehaw! It's a bit of a surprise, but safe to say the topic is non-fiction, yet I'm only a few pages in before I get distracted with Punch and my nonstop gardening. It's almost as if I have a few jobs and I don't get paid for any of them, lol. However, and this is a BIG HOWEVER -- I absolutely adore the various colors and species of nature that adorn our home from front to back.
It's more than time-consuming. It's a passion, for sure. One that says "better late than never." And, I love it.

With all this hubbub surrounding my garden, Punch, Wizard, and LIFE, I will bid adieu for now. I wish every one of you a lovely April and the beginning of May. I'll be back on the 22nd of May, as that 22 day is my north star. Being with you here and now reminds me that even publishing these words is truly past the day I originated them. I'll make certain I publish on the 22nd. That's my commitment to writing and sharing with you.
But, you know what? Better late than never -- my mantra for many things in life. When confronted with natural beauty with too much going on in the world, I'd rather sit at my desk and create while my imagination is running high. It's more than enough to spend days at the beach with Wizard--running, observing, and listening. As the waves crash on the shore and the air is perfect on its own, I love having those moments to catch my breath and think how grateful I am for SO MUCH.
I wish you all the love and peace needed to keep a smile on your face. If you see it, know it, trust it, and believe in it, a brimming grin does the trick every time.
All the best to you. See you next month.
Gerry Ellen xoxo
