The Power of Purple

There's never been a more regal color than purple. Composed of blue and red, this majestic shade in your crayon box can heal, calm, and inspire. I've been a purple fan for as long as I can remember. Heck, we painted our front, side, and back doors a cool grape shade of purple and painted in the word L O V E on the interior of my office and our gym. This color's royalty creates warmth in my system, so much so that purple anything gives me a rush of intense feelings.

At first glance or thought, you might think this is a political statement. Nothing is farther from the truth. Yes, purple is considered the neutral color whenever reds and blues collaborate and overlap, however, my way of surmising the color purple is one of LOVE. Do we have enough of this in the world right now? I'm not convinced. But we can.

The back and forth on social media concerning whatever anyone believes or mentions is out of control and not for the Highest Good it seems. Bring in the purple vibes! I envision a world where we can all overlap and connect in harmony, just like the colors that make up purple. The only thing constant in this life is change. Why not embrace it and leave all the complaining and tit-for-tat stuff behind?

If love is at the root of action and speech, there's no room to be fearful, anxious, or hateful. The planets--of course, I have to mention their influence--have been dancing and dipping throughout the early to mid part of 2024, without any sign of quitting or easing. I have upped my intentions and manifestations over the past few months, mainly because I can feel the pulse of what's driving people and why.

I'm no trained expert on astronomy or psychic phenomena, however, I do the research and dabble until I reach conclusions, with the help of the internet and those professionals who understand and espouse their knowledge. We might be marching towards a new way of living in the upcoming years, which has to do with our choices and our freedoms. Purple power is everywhere! That's what I wish for.

I heard the PERFECT song on our way to the beach this morning. Take a listen and tell me you don't feel the same. It's only a little over two minutes, with lyrics that melt your heart and give way to all the cozy emotions:

This simple and strikingly beautiful song by Louis Armstrong encapsulates what LOVE is. Everything is as it needs to be. Only if we want it to be.

I'll close out the month of September on a note where I want to recite Mr. Armstrong's easy lyrics every time I step out the door. Wizard, Greg, and I have been running a couple of miles barefoot on the beach most mornings, and if you could see the horizon over the ocean here and how it echoes purple, blue, and pink hues, I swear it can melt the toughest heart and soul. The fog lingers out there on occasion, yet it produces a cacophony of colors.

We have no travel plans until probably November, as this part of the world is now experiencing our best weather months. The surf is better. The air is clearer. We all seem to have a spring in our step. It probably has to do with us not wearing layer upon layer of clothing, which is typical of the summer months. Seems odd though. May, June, July, and August are all super foggy and highs only reach around 60-something degrees.

Once September rolls in, it also ushers in blue skies, sunshine, those purplish dawn horizons, and energetic heart openings. It's eclipse season, too, so be mindful of the moon and the sun asking us to remove our shields. Out with the old, in with the new. What will that be? You get to decide.

Have a wonderful rest of your month and be kind to each other. Remember the song from Louis Armstrong "What a Wonderful World." If LOVE empowers our every thought, word, and deed, you can't go wrong. It's a good time to check in and see where you're at with your feelings, and your choices, and making some changes. Celebrate individual expression. Partake in sacrificing a smidge of your day for others. Be willing to LOVE and LOVE hard.

The healing that's taking place is unearthing us at a subconscious level, and it is within these layers where true happiness lies.

I love this time of year. I hope you do too.

Until next month,

Gerry Ellen xoxo
